PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and an information processing method thereof are provided to increase the user convenience by selecting a touch operation through a desirable application among the applications which are multi-tasked. CONSTITUTION: A touch device receives a touch signal. If a second touch signal is received in the state that a first touch signal is maintained, a controller(180) displays an application list. According to the reception of a third touch signal for which a first or second touch signal is dragged, an indicator for indicating one item in the displayed item is moved in the drag direction in the list. If the third touch signal is released, the controller activates the application corresponding to the item indicated by the indicator.
