PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing Echinosophora koreensis extract, fraction, and kenusanone H is provided to suppress growth of cancer cells in vivo and in vitro. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for anti-cancer contains Echinosophora koreensis extract or organic solvent fraction thereof as an active ingredient. The Echinosophora koreensis extract is obtained using water, C1-C4 low alcohol or mixture solvent thereof. A pharmaceutical composition for anti-cancer contains kenusanone H of chemical formula 1 or pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient.
