A wireless security device and a security method thereof are provided to prevent a defenseless state due to the malfunction of the wireless security device through the two-way communication with a control device. A wireless security device(10) includes an input unit, a wireless unit(200), an output unit, a sensing unit, and a power unit(500). The wireless security device controls the start or release operation of the security system. A wireless unit includes a data transceiver(210) and a wake-up receiver(220). The data transceiver transmits and receives the normal and abnormal state information of the wireless security device to and from the control device by wireless. The wake-up receiver wirelessly receives the wake-up data including the operation information inside the security system from the control device and controls the wireless security device. The battery supplies the power to the wireless security device. |
