VARIABLE ANALOG INTERFACE MODULE AND WIDE AREA POWER SYSTEM DYNAMIC MONITORING SYSTEM HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A variable analog interface module and a system for monitoring a global power system are provided to monitor power system status of several areas. CONSTITUTION: A device for monitoring a power system includes a power module(110), a CPU module(120), a variable analog interface module(130), a digital interface module(140), a signal process unit(150), and a user interface unit(160). The variable analog interface module analyzes the power facility by measuring the voltage, the current, the waveform and the operating function of the power system. The digital interface module receives a power circuit breaker signal and evaluates the status of the power facility. A signal processing unit controls the signal process sequence of each module. The user interface unit inputs the command to the power system monitoring device and confirms the status of the power system.
