PURPOSE: An automatic operation control method between terminals for rapidly sensing a communication channel between terminals by the motion of the mobile terminals is provided to easily perform various services based on a local communication channel by quickly forming the local communication channel with an opposing mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: If a fixed operation signal is detected, a control unit of a first portable terminal and a second portable terminal activates a local communication module(S103, S107). The controller searches another terminal for the formation of a local communications channel based on the fixed operating signal(S109). If a terminal generating the same operation signal as the collected operation signal exists, the controller forms the communications channel with the terminal(S111, S113).
