PURPOSE: A digital image processing device and an image reproducing method thereof for storing a VGA image are provided to reduce an image reproducing time by supplying the VGA image not a main image. CONSTITUTION: A screen image search unit(75) confirms a VGA image in an original image file. If a VGA(Video Graphics Array) image is not included in the original image file, a screen image generating unit(77) generates the VGA image. A display unit displays the VGA image.
