Disclosed is an induction cooking device which is provided with a center coil wound in a planar shape, a plurality of peripheral coils adjacent to and wound around the periphery of the center coil, and a high-frequency power supply for supplying high-frequency current independently to the center coil and each peripheral coil. The high-frequency power supply supplies high-frequency current essentially flowing in the same direction to the regions where the center coil and the peripheral coils are mutually adjacent.
