The invention relates to a three-phase electric motor with a stator made up of stator segments, wherein each stator segment is provided with a winding and the windings are connected to give a star with three continuously wound windings. According to the invention, a three-phase electric motor can be produced, the windings of which have high reliability and high vibration resistance and are compact, efficient and can be economically produced. The above is achieved by means of a winding path divided into preferably two parallel coil groups 2a1 - 2a2, 2b1 - 2b2, 2c1 - 2c2, the coil groups 2a1 - 2a2, 2b1 - 2b2, 2c1 -2c2 are formed from several adjacent stator segment coils (3), the coil groups 2a1 - 2a2, 2b1 - 2b2, 2c1 - 2c2 of the three phases are arranged in sequence series and the second coil group 2a2, 2b2, 2c2 is wired parallel to the first coil group 2a1, 2b1, 2c1 with negative polarity. |
