A conveyor system for conveying objects, which conveyor system comprises a conveyor bdt (2), which is adapted for conveying the objects spaced, eg. regularly spaced, by meafis of indexing means, which are configured for being ifl an active or a passive position. The conveyor bdt comprises at least two groups of such indexing means, wherein the indexing means (6aa, 6ab - 6an, 6ba, 6bb - 6bn) related to a first of said at east two groups are spaced with a first interval (Dl), which differs from an interval (D2), with which indexing means (8aa, 8ab - 8an, 8ba, 8bb - 8bn) related to another of said at least two groups are spaced. Further, the conveyor system comprises control actuator means for actuating at least a plurality of said indexing means placed in at least one of said at east two groups.
