<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for supplying power to electronic appliances and a method of the same are provided to minimize power loss, which is generated by the low-drop-out(LDO) regulators of a power managing integrated circuit by lowering the input voltage of the LDO regulators. CONSTITUTION: The power supplying unit of electronic appliances includes a plurality of direct current(DC)/DC converters(110) and a plurality of LDO regulators. A switching unit(140) selects one power among a plurality of different power including the output power of the DC/DC converters and input the selected power to the LDO regulators. A controller(100) controls the switch operation of the switching unit.</p> |
