The method involves arranging a horizontal empennage (16) at the front of an aerofoil (8) of an aircraft (AC) i.e. transport airplane. Two engines (19D, 19G) are mounted on free ends (22D, 22G) of the horizontal empennage, respectively. The aerofoil is arranged under a fuselage (1) of the aircraft without penetrating the fuselage, where the horizontal empennage is shifted transversely upwards with respect to the aerofoil. An adjusting dynamic lift is generated by the horizontal empennage by controlling articulated flaps.
