FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: work member for removing ice and packed snow off road carpet consists of case and of driven shaft with cutting element. The driven shaft is mounted on bearings, is coupled with a drive and is secured inside the case; it has conic lower part equipped with the rigidly fixed cutting element. The cutting element consists of separate sectors, surfaces of each are made in form of parabolic hyperboloid with its lower part transiting into circular surface parallel to road plane; teeth are attached to this surface. An upper part of the parabolic hyperboloid ends with a bend transiting into a vertical ledge of the next sector. ^ EFFECT: reduced power consumption at breaking ice and packed snow. ^ 4 dwg
