METHOD OF BLANKING

FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to blanking jobs used in metal forming and is intended for blanking from thin material. Stock material is placed on base made up of two butted soft-metal plates mounted on thereon. Said plates are swaged out by hold-down tool and punch with stock material. Swage-out is performed until cavity formed by stock material, hold-down tool and plate is filled by plates metal and fluxion of metal into gap between wedge ribs on plate and hold-down tool. Blanking of part and piercing of two-plate base are performed by punch simultaneously with termination of swaging-out. ^ EFFECT: higher quality of cut surface and simplified withdrawal of tool. ^ 1 dwg
