<p>A wave suppression structure for a fuel tank, wherein a wave suppression member (37) provided within a tank body of the fuel tank comprises: a basket-like container (38) constructed from two members which are first and second half-bodies (38L, 38R); and cylindrical porous members (39), two of which are supported within one of the first and second half-bodies (38L, 38R) and the remaining two of which are supported within the other. The first and second half-bodies (38L, 38R) of the basket-like container (38) are joined together in such a manner that a fuel suction pipe (36) is sandwiched within a through-hole (38f) of the first and second half-bodies (38L, 38R), and this configuration causes the wave suppression member (37) to be supported by the fuel suction pipe (36). The wave suppression member (37) can be mounted to the fuel suction pipe (36) without requiring complex work of inserting the fuel suction pipe (36) into the through-hole (38f) of the basket-like container (38) and into the inside of the porous members (39), and as a result, mounting workability is significantly improved.</p> |
