METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING CHRONIC VIRAL HEPATITIS B AND C IN CHILDREN

The method for diagnosing chronic viral hepatitis B and C in the children comprises accounting for the following factors:acute viral hepatitis in medical history of the patient;contacts with patient with acute viral hepatitis;hemotransfusions;surgery;enlargement of liver;presence of serological markers of hepatitis B and C;changes of biochemical and immunological parameters in blood serum;findings of liver biopsy;palmar erythema, capillaritis, telangiectasia.All the parameters above are indicative of the presence of hepatitis virus B and C allowing for early detection of the disease and objective assessment of the inflammatory activity in the liver.
