<p>Provided is a side structure of a vehicle wherein deformation of a rocker can be controlled efficiently by a center pillar when the rocker buckles as a load is transmitted from the center pillar to the rocker due to side collision, and thereby deformation of the rocker can be reduced. A center pillar (2) extending vertically is provided on the side of a vehicle, and a rocker (1) extending in the front and back direction is coupled to the lower end of the center pillar (2). At the joint of the center pillar (2) to the rocker (1), a front ridge line (24) and a rear ridge line (25) are formed, respectively, which are positioned at front and rear position of the vehicle, to extend downward toward the central portion of the center pillar (2) in the width direction so that the front ridge line (24) and the rear ridge line (25) approach each other.</p> |
