PURPOSE: A vehicle brake is provided to prevent from encountering interference with other part by preventing the rotation of the hold-down spring and thus to prevent the deforming of a hold-down spring and the noise. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle brake comprises a back plate(10), brake shoes(12) and a hold-down spring(20). The brake shoes are installed on the back plate. The hold- down spring applies the elastic force to the web(13) of the brake shoe for the position correction of the brake shoe. The web and the hold-down spring comprise an anti-rotating part for preventing the rotation of the hold-down spring. The anti-rotating part comprises a slot and a protrusion. The slot is formed on the web. The protrusion is formed on the hold-down spring to be inserted into the slot.
