The invention relates to a sealing device for sealing a joint between two building components (10, 17), said joint (12) being a joint on a building. One of the building components (17) forms an integral part together with the sealing device (22), and the integrated building component (17), which is a profiled strip, forms a sealing arrangement along with the sealing device. The sealing device comprises at least one supporting member (29), a sealing tape (33), and a sealing leg (99) for mounting the sealing arrangement on a section (98) of a building component (10) mounted on the building. The profiled strip (17) can be mounted on the building in such a way as to lie across from building component (10) relative to the joint that is to be sealed. Furthermore, the profiled strip has a joint leg (19) that is arranged across from the building component. The sealing device sealingly connects the profiled strip to the building component. In a mounting position of the sealing arrangement, the profiled strip and the sealing leg are disposed in a stable mounted position relative to each other by means of the supporting member (29), while in a mounted position of the sealing arrangement, the sealing device adapts to any change in the relative position between the profiled strip (17) and the building component (10), keeping the joint sealed. According to the invention, the sealing device forms a joint cover (100) on the visible side thereof in a mounted position, the sealing tape being disposed such that part or all of the joint cover is formed by a covering section (95) of the sealing tape or by the entire sealing tape. |
