<p>A writing implement configured in such a manner that the pen point can be made to project and retract with good operability. A writing implement is provided with: a pressing member (32) for pressing a core material (15) toward the rear of a shaft tube (12) so that the pen point (14) is located normally within the shaft tube (12); a slit (26) provided on the front side of the shaft tube (12); an operation member (20) guided so as to be movable forward and backward along the slit (26); a direction change member (16) having a shaft hole (18) through which the pen point (14) passes and fixed within the shaft tube (12) to a position near an opening (13); and a cover member (28) consisting of a flexible member, having a hole section and a lid section, disposed within the shaft tube (12) so as to straddle, in a U-shape, the tip of the direction change member (16) and be slidable along the tip, and having one end connected to the operation member (20) and the other end connected to the core material (15).</p> |
