Provided are a resource re-allocation method and a communication apparatus using the same wherein the variation of reception delay time in reservation scheduling can be suppressed. In a wireless communication system for periodically performing communications among communication apparatuses by reserving radio resources, reserved radio resources (step S201) are used to determine a number of retransmissions of packets that were transmitted to a communication apparatus (step S203); and a re-allocation of the radio resources to be used for the transmission is executed in accordance with the number of retransmissions (steps S204 and S205).
