FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: in a two-component velocity sensor for electroconductive liquid, having a magnetic system consisting of a core and an exciting coil and two pairs of electrodes directed along mutually perpendicular axes, the core is five-legged and has a base in form of cross and has four lateral legs and a central leg on which the exciting coil is placed.
