The present invention relates to a horizontal sedimentation system comprising: an inflow part into which contaminated water flows; a sedimentation part in which floc and suspended solids included in the contaminated water are precipitated; a discharge part for discharging the suspended solids captured by the sedimentation part; and an outflow part including an outflow weir through which treated water from which suspended solids have been removed by the sedimentation part flows out. More specifically, the present invention relates to a horizontal sedimentation system with a media, wherein the media is installed in the sedimentation part, a horizontal separation plate for separating the treated water from the outflow weir is installed in the outflow part, and a plurality of treated water guide pipes penetrating the horizontal separation plate are installed downward on the upstream side of the outflow weir. The present invention can provide a sedimentation system, wherein the contaminated water forms a horizontal flow in the overall treatment processes and suspended solids are precipitated and attached in stages inside a sedimentation basin, thereby improving sedimentation efficiency.
