FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to strip guiding. In compliance with proposed invention, to continuously and adequately measure the force acting on loaded roller, i.e. in roller guiding, it is proposed to use transducer for measuring bearing unit strain and computer to calculate target force acting on said roller proceeding from aforesaid measurement.
