A wireless communication apparatus (1000) provided with: a wired interface (1100) is connected to one or more devices by cables by a scheme specified in the HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) specification; a wireless interface (1200) which is wirelessly connected to another wireless communication apparatus; an address management table (1300) which holds CEC logical addresses which identify the devices connected to the pair of wireless communication apparatuses by cables; a table update unit (1400) which updates the address management table (1300), based on whether a message has been received indicating that a device connected at one end has changed, said one end being one of the wired interface (1100) or the wireless interface (1200); and a control unit (1500) which notifies a device existing at the other end that the address management table (1300) has been updated by the table update unit (1400), said other end being the other of the wired interface (1100) or the wireless interface (1200).
