DIELECTRIC CERAMIC AND LAMINATED CERAMIC CAPACITOR

Disclosed is a dielectric ceramic which has a high breakdown voltage, a high dielectric constant (e), and good reliability. Also disclosed is a laminated ceramic capacitor which comprises the dielectric ceramic and is suitable for use under high to medium voltages. The dielectric ceramic contains (Ba1-xCax)TiO3 (0.30 = x = 0.50) as the main component and additionally contains vanadium in an amount of 0.03 to 5 parts by mole inclusive and silicon in an amount of 0.5 to 5 parts by mole inclusive both relative to 100 parts by mole of the main component.
