PURPOSE: An automatic focusing process method for preventing defocus, an apparatus thereof, and a digital photographing device using the same are provided to perform compensation in case a digital photographing apparatus fails an automatic focusing operation. CONSTITUTION: An automatic focusing process is performed using an automatic focusing window(406). An automatic focusing return value of a subject is compared with an automatic focusing return value of the background according to the auto focusing performance(408). If the two values are similar, the automatic focusing is compensated based on the automatic focusing return value(414). |
