<p>In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus and a corresponding method are described, comprising reception of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission, wherein the OFDM transmission comprises at least one OFDM symbol and at least one guard interval. At least a part of the OFDM symbol is repeated during at least a part of the guard interval. The presence of a burst interference is detected, and at least a part of the OFDM symbol occurring during the burst interference is replaced with at least a part of the signal received during the guard interval.</p> |
