3 PHASE UPS AND BATTERY CHARGING METHOD

PURPOSE: A three phase power source UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply) and a battery charge control method thereof are provided to improve the lifespan and stability of a battery by controlling the charge voltage and charge current of a battery through a DC-DC chopper part. CONSTITUTION: An input filter part(10) receives a three phase power source. A rectifying part(20) rectifies the three phase power source to a DC power source. A battery(70) stores a DC power source rectified with a DC-DC chopper part(60). An inverter part(30) changes a DC power source into an AC power source. An output filter part(40) outputs the AC power source transformed with the inverter part to a load. A controlling part controls an UPS function and the PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) of the inverter part.
