The invention relates to the field of data distribution in a data warehouse taking account of the preliminary etymological separation of said data. In the invention, dictionaries of entities are used which are distributed in public networks and are continually updated, entities are correlated with one another, duplicate entities are tracked in binary pairs, and deterministic or multi-valued dependencies are analyzed using successive approximations and modifications based on a template framework of relationships. The preliminary separation of a collection of entities in a subject field provides the possibility of simultaneously using the properties of both a relational data model and, for example, an object-oriented data model. A logical data scheme and a physical data scheme are formed, which are equivalent to one another. This makes it possible to use relational possibilities in a physically distributed data warehouse which is spread over different servers.
