The device has casings for storing vertically stacked traffic cones (1) and connected to each other by a chain. The casings move on an oblong shaped conveyor belt by a motor to form a store in which the cones are lifted from a path and transferred by handling arms, where the handling arms are introduced one by one and imprisoned by a stripper system (8). The conveyor belt displaces the casings to a top of the stripper system for permitting passage of the cones through the top during collection using a skeleton fork (3) of the stripper system.
