The invention relates to the composition of compounds intended for production of the polymeric products of low flammability, and can be used in various fields of technology, where the composite polymeric materials with low flammability and improved physical and mechanical properties are used: all fields of mechanical engineering, instrument making, automotive and aircraft industry, road construction, etc. The invention provides for 2-fold increase of oxygen index (OI) at combustion of products made from compounds on the base of industrial grades of polyethylene. The positive effect is achieved due to the content in compound, wt. %: polyethylene - 50-54 with calcium stearate - 2-4, crystalline hydrate of double salt (NH)SOFe(SO)24HO (ammonium iron alum), 43-47. The effect increases with saving high physical and mechanical properties of the compounds in the case when the particles of ammonium iron alum have a stable size, less than 1 micron. Using disclosed compound makes it possible to obtain on the standard industrial equipment from available raw materials the polymeric products, which differ from initial polyethylene by reduced combustibility with saving high physical and mechanical properties. |
