The sailwing has a propulsion engine (8), and an upper beam (22) including a front end connected to a frame (12), where the frame is placed on an air inlet (14) of the engine. The upper beam has a median part connected to another frame (16) that is placed at a rear part of the former frame. A hooking pylon (26) hooks the engine on a fuselage (4), and the engine is fixed on the pylon. A fan cowl is articulated on the upper beam between the frames. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a propulsion engine on a sailwing. |
