<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor unit with a built-in housing that prevents the destruction of a bearing for supporting a motor shaft, is shortened in the entire length, and improves the accuracy of assembling a resolver, at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: A motor generator MG composed of a motor stator 41 fixed to the housing 30 side and a motor rotor 42 fixed to the hollow motor shaft 43 side includes a resolver 61 for detecting the rotation angle of the rotor.
