PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact fan apparatus capable of increasing a flow rate and excellent in heat radiation properties of an axial-flow fan. SOLUTION: The fan apparatus 1 includes a circuit board holding part 3 connected to and supported at a axial center part of a cylindrical housing 2 by stationary blades 4, and a motor 8 at an upper end of the circuit board holding part 3, and blasts air by an impeller 12 joined to a shaft 10 of the motor 8. In the apparatus, a plurality of grooves 3a extending in the axial direction are formed at an outer circumference of the circuit board holding part 3, and a circuit board 7 is held at an inside of the circuit board holding part 3 in parallel with the axial direction.
