PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser radar and a using method of a laser radar which can make a proper maintenance match with the operating state. SOLUTION: The laser radar includes a detecting part 10 by two-dimensionally scanning an intersection A by a laser beam LT, to obtain three-dimensional information of the intersection A in accordance with many measuring point distance information in the intersection A obtained by scanning by the laser beam LT; a deciding part 20 for detecting and outputting a vehicle C present in the intersection A in accordance with the three-dimensional information obtained in the detecting part 10; a public line communication part 30 for transmitting data obtained in the deciding part 20 to a server capable of storing the data by using a public line; an operating environmental information collecting part 40 for collecting installing environmental information, such as, temperature or humidity; and a using information collecting part 50 for collecting using information, such as, an operating time of each component and history information collecting part 60 for collecting an operating history to the laser radar 1 from an external part or history information of a generated trouble.
