<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR valve preventing bearing lock due to adhesion and accumulation of deposit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The EGR valve 1 includes a deposit trap means 11 comprising a deposit trap chamber 7 and a stop plate 8. An inner circumference edge of the stop plate 8 adheres on a shaft 6. An inner circumference side of the stop plate 8 includes a tapered part 8a of which diameter reduces as it gets closer to a shaft insertion gap S1. An outer circumference side of the stop plate 8 includes a flange part 8b making EGR gas perpendicularly impinge on an inner wall surface of the deposit trap chamber 7. Deposit is accumulated at a section where the EGR gas impinges. Then, the accumulated deposit fills a sliding clearance S2 between the stop plate 8 and the deposit trap chamber 7 and makes deposit not easily reach the bearing 5. Consequently, bearing lock is avoided and reliability of the EGR valve 1 is increased even if the EGR valve 1 is used for a long period of time. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
