<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide rail device for a vehicle, allowing an easy assembling work as the slide rail device and easily manufacturable with reduced cost by improving a lock device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This lock device includes an operation member 34 oscillatably inserted into an insertion hole provided on an upper surface of an upper rail 20 and having an upper end projecting to the outside of the upper rail 20, a lock member 32 fixed to a lower end of the operation member 34 and provided with a hook 31 oscillatably locking between an insertion hole provided on the side surface of the upper rail 20 and a vertical wall, a lock pawl 33 formed integrally with the lock member 32 and engageable with a lock groove on a lower rail side, and an energizing means for energizing the lock member 32 so that the lock pawl 33 may oscillate in the engaging direction.
