<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a synthetic resin bag, which is capable of easily manufacturing a synthetic resin bag having a mouth part capable of being firmly closed and kept in a sealed state even if increased inner pressure is generated inside. Ž<P>SOLUTION: After female and male fastener members 4, 5 are attached by heat welding at the upper and the lower end edge parts of a rectangular synthetic resin sheet 10 in the longitudinal direction, the synthetic resin sheet 10 is folded in half to form a surface side sheet 1 and a back surface side sheet 2 longer than the surface side sheet 1, at the upper parts of which the male and female fastener members 4, 5 are attached each and the upper end part of the back surface side sheet 2 is folded back and a protrusion 5a of the male fastener member 5 attached at the end of the folded back part 2a is meshed into a hollow 4a of the female fastener member 4 at the upper end of the surface side sheet 1 and in this state, both side edge parts extending from the upper end of the folded back part 2a to the lower ends of the surface and back sheet 1, 2 are heat-welded 6, 6 and then the synthetic resin bag having a mouth part 3 openable and closable with the female and male fastening members 4, 5 on the front surface side is obtained.
