<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strainer for sludge recovery, for reducing the amount of oil-containing sludge transferred to a recovery tank. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The strainer for sludge recovery includes: a screw 4 which comprises a screw shaft 2 and a screw blade 3 spirally provided on at least a part of the outer periphery of the screw shaft; an inner cylinder 5 which is provided with an oil passing hole and surrounds the screw; an outer cylinder 6 which is installed on the outer side of the inner cylinder and forms an oil discharge gap with the inner cylinder; an oil supply port 10 for supplying oil into the inner cylinder; a stopper 7 which is installed near the cylinder end on the oil-containing sludge discharge side of the inner cylinder, and for adjusting the discharge of the oil-containing sludge; an oil discharge port 13 for discharging the oil discharged to the oil discharge gap to the outside of an apparatus; an oil-containing sludge discharge port 12 for discharging the oil-containing sludge discharged from the inner cylinder to the outside of the apparatus; and a driving means for rotationally driving the screw.
