The module (1) has a storage container for storing liquid to be heated up. A heating mechanism heats the liquid at a preset temperature. A conveying mechanism conveys the liquid stored in the storage container to a tap (6) over the heating mechanism. The container, the heating mechanism, the conveying mechanism and the tap are installed and/or accommodated in a vehicle-sided console (2). The container is formed as a flat canister.
