<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer rotor type rotating electric machine having a detecting sensor having a substrate disposed closely to a sensor case. <P>SOLUTION: The outer rotor type rotating electric machine has a stator core made of a magnetic material, a bowl-like rotor rotating around the stator core, and a detecting sensor disposed on the stator core and detecting the rotating position of the rotor. The detecting sensor has a plurality of hall ICs for detecting the magnetic flux of the magnet, a fan-like substrate connected to the plurality of hall ICs, a fan-like sensor case for housing the plurality of hall ICs and the substrate, a plurality of insertion portions formed on the bottom surface of the sensor case, and a lead wire connected to the substrate via the insertion portions. Since a connection portion between the lead wire and the substrate is not disposed between the substrate and the sensor case, the substrate is disposed closely to the bottom surface of the sensor case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
