<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oversupply of a reducing agent in an exhaust emission control device supplying a catalyst 3 with the reducing agent for selectively reducing nitrogen oxide when the temperature of the catalyst 3 reaches to a prescribed value or higher. <P>SOLUTION: On the basis of temperature of a catalyst 3, whether an inactive zone 3b where the reducing agent is adsorbed exists in the catalyst 3 is determined, and supply quantity of the reducing agent is corrected and reduced when temperature of the inactive zone 3b rises to reducing agent desorption temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
