<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that is compact, can prevent misoperation and an increase in noise, and can prevent lowering of operability. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a switch housing recessed part 20 provided to open in rectangular shape at the lower part of a side surface 11c of a body case, and a power supply switch 24 disposed inside the switch housing recessed part 20 and turning on/off power to be supplied to the power supply unit. The switch housing recessed part 20 includes a planar switch operation surface 21 which has a lower end 21a arranged to be connected to a lower edge 20a of an opening, and has an upper end 21b arranged nearer to the inside of the body case than the lower end 21a, and where the power supply switch 24 is disposed, and an angle formed by the switch operation surface 21 with the side surface 11c is 10 degrees or more and under 90 degrees. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
