<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface circuit which supplements a real-time property of an Ethernet (R) differentially transmitted. <P>SOLUTION: A video signal and a sound signal are transmitted by TMDS (Transition Minimized Differential Signaling) from a source device to a sink device. An Ethernet signal is bidirectionally transmitted through a reserve line 362 and an HPD line 363 which are provided aside from a TMDS transmission line, and an SPDIF signal is transmitted from the sink device to the source device. The Ethernet signal bidirectionally transmitted between Ethernet receiving and transmitting circuits 160 and 260 is differentially transmitted by amplifiers 420 and 520 and is received by amplifiers 430 and 530. The SPDIF signal from an SPDIF transmission circuit 270 is in-phase transmitted by adders 571 and 572, is received by an adder 460 and is supplied to an SPDIF receiving circuit 170. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
