PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle stitching and folding device applying a suitably strong folding line, and accurately matching a staple with the folding line. SOLUTION: A plurality of projections are provided on the distal end of a folding knife 242, and the projections push a paper sheet bundle P toward a fold roller 241. A stitcher movement mechanism is moved to a stitching position in accordance with a size of the paper sheet.
