<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of preventing friction between a coil spring and itself for reducing a backlash of a gear and biting-in of the coil spring. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A housing is formed with a bearing cylinder 20 and an outer cylinder 26 for rotatably supporting an output shaft 23. A collar 30 rotatably supported by the bearing cylinder 20 is arranged between the bearing cylinder 20 and the outer cylinder 26. The coil spring CP for elastically supporting the output shaft 23 is arranged between its collar 30 and the outer cylinder 26, and the collar 30 is connected to the output shaft 23 so as to integrally rotate with the output shaft 23.
