PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a device by using a non-metallic material to the extent that the device can not be easily detected by a metal detector, and to provide an alternative technique for collecting data concerning the activity of the harmful insect. SOLUTION: The device of exterminating the harmful insect includes one bait member which can operate so as to be consumed or deformed by one or two or more kinds of the harmful insects, and a passive RF communication circuit which responds to a wireless excitation signal and transmits information about the device of exterminating the harmful inset.
