PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with which a session is switched during communication, at a general terminal e.g. a SIP terminal. SOLUTION: A communication status output device 10 includes: an ID acquiring means 110 for acquiring from the outside a terminal ID of each registration terminal; a presence information acquiring means 120 for acquiring from the outside presence information of each registration terminal; a session information acquiring means 130 for acquiring from the outside session information of each registration terminal; an information adding means 150 for adding a terminal designating instruction to the terminal ID and adding a media designating instruction to the session information; and a communication status transmitting means 160 for transmitting the terminal ID to which the terminal designating instruction has been added, the presence information, the session information to which the media designating instruction has been added, information indicating whether the registration terminals and media are under session setup, to one registration terminal as information indicative of a communication status.
