<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door frame which requires a reduced amount of labor for repairing a substrate when being removed, and a novel door frame attaching structure achieved by employing the door frame. Ž<P>SOLUTION: At least one of vertical frames 11a, 11b of the door frame 1 is formed of the body frame 15 constituting the main part of the vertical frames 11a, 11b, an auxiliary frame 16 fitted to the body frame 15 from outside by a fitting structure formed inside and an adjusting fitting arranged between the body frame 15 and the auxiliary frame 16 and permitting the adjustment of the fitting width of the body frame 15 and the auxiliary frame 16. The vertical frames 11a, 11b are screwed to a skeleton 3 on the rear side of a wall while keeping the outer side face of the auxiliary frame 16 in contact with the wall 4. In such a constitution, because the door frame 1 can be attached almost without applying any work onto the substrate of the wall 4, work for repairing the substrate is not required when the door frame 1 is removed.
