<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide light source equipment for converting light emitted from a light-emitting diode to white light. <P>SOLUTION: The light source equipment at least comprises a light conversion member comprising a light-emitting diode, a phosphor film for converting light emitted from the light-emitting diode to white light, and a metal oxide thin film formed on the phosphor film. The light conversion member comprises: the phosphor film formed by coating at least one surface of a glass base material with liquid obtained by mixing phosphor, organic binder, and a solvent before drying and baking to convert ultraviolet rays or blue light emitted from the light-emitting diode to white light; and a thin film made of a metal oxide formed by coating the phosphor film with a coating material including metal alkoxide and/or oligomer of the metal alkoxide before drying and baking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
